TEEN VISION CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES
Every Tuesday @7p.m. Lighthouse Gym is open to the community for those who want to play basketball. Come join us for a time of fun competition.
Every Thursday night @ 7p.m. in the Lighthouse facility everyone is invited to a dynamic bible study where everyone is welcome to participate.
• October 8-9th - Youth Leadership Conference in Dallas, Tx.
• October 16th - Youth Alive service @ 7 pm- Lighthouse Room
• October 15-16- Girl’s Night Out at 5621 N. Freeway Houston, TX 77076 starting at 8p.m.
• October 23rd - Harlem Globetrotters Basketball Tournament
• November 6- Zona 7 in Concert @7p.m. – Lighthouse Room $5.00 cover
• November 28th- Thanksgiving Dinner (Place to be announce)
• December 10-11 – Winter Retreat (Place to be announced)
Del Lago Retreat
For you guys that didn‚t hear, Teen Vision went on a weekend trip to the Del Lago Resort in Lake Conroe. We left from the church at 7 on a Friday night and carpooled to the resort. Upon our arrival we settled in, then ventured out to enjoy the many activities. Some of went swimming, some of us played basketball and some of us just relaxed and watched tv. We enjoyed dinner followed by a devotional given by Victor. We finished of the night by playing in the pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Saturday (after breakfast) we were free to roam the resort and do as we pleased. That afternoon we enjoyed a delicious lunch of hamburgers prepared by our own Chefjuan. We topped of the day with a game of volleyball and a swim in the lake.
That afternoon we headed back to the church to catch up on some much needed sleep. If you missed out on this retreat make sure to check out the calendar for upcoming Teen Vision events.
Que Buya Fest
On July 25 and 26 we were the proud hosts of the first annual "Que Buya Fest" The 2 day music fest featured- Cronos, PIF, SOL, Carmeci and our very own Zona 7. Friday night was kicked off by an awesome performance by Cronos and a small teaching by Victor. At the end of the night we all headed to the Teen Vision room - (which with ALOT of help from our own volunteers was transformed into a "cafe")-
where we enjoyed food, pool, foosball and music by our own DJ Carlos. Saturday we started off with some great praise and worship compliments of Dallas‚ SOL. After a brief teaching and lunch we were off to the gym for the infamous „Olympics‰. The main and final event of the weekend was the performance of CCAO‚s own Carmeci and the world- famous Zona 7. This event was alot of hard- work and for most of us very tiring. We‚d like to thank all you guys that helped us out all weekend. Without your help this event would not have been possible. Thank you guys so much!!!
