The idea of Otra Onda/Youth Wave began in 1997 in Spain while Victor J Cardenas, the founder of OO/YW, was preaching in a Youth convention. It was during that convention that God put in him the vision and the desire. In 1999 OO/YW became a 501c3 in the US.
Where are the offices of OO/YW?
OO/YW has two offices. We are working hard in Houston Tx, where we operate internationally, and in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon where we have our offices for Mexico.

OO/YW has three people working full time, three people working part time and several volunteers.

Does OO/YW has workers that can impart seminars on leadership and strategic evangelism for the youth?
Yes. From the beginnings of OO/YW we have traveled all over latin america sharing with young people and youth leaders. OO/YW has a rock band, Zona7, that travels doing strategic evangelism thru music.
Can OO/YW help young people with problems?
Yes. We have the desire to be able to give help to young people with different problems, thru counseling, if the person is in the Houston area, and referring them to professional people who can help them.
